Woden is a town of about 250 people located in northern Iowa.

Annual Thanksgiving celebration
An annual Thanksgiving celebration held at Wubben's Bar and Grill was featured in the Globe Gazette on November 22, 2012. It's estimated about 1/3 of citizens attend the event. See article: Woden's Thanksgiving all about family, friends and good food


New business opens in Woden
Faber Repair and Tire opened for business in on May 14 in the former Harold's Tire Service location. According to a June 20th article in the Globe Gazette, "The business ffers a full range of services, including tire repair and sales, oil changes, transmission service, exhaust, brakes and agriculture service calls."


Woden's post office was scheduled to close after Jan. 13th, 2012 but this has now been postponed. The office will remain open until at least May 15. In this interim period, mail may be addressed to either street address or PO Box number.
